Being "artistic"

I don't consider myself too artistic. Although, I would like to be. I love taking pictures and I love decorating and I love scrapbooking. Hum. Maybe I'm more "artistic" than I like to think.


Either way, our kitchen is seriously lacking in decoration for a few reasons:

1. It's a kitchen.

2. The previous owner loved apples in a BIG way (as in used an apple border in the kitchen and left ALL of her apple decorations on the walls, etc). No offense to those of you who love to decorate your kitchen with apples. It's just not my thing.

3. It's fairly small, cute, but small.


In an attempt to add a little life to my kitchen, I've made a Word Document and printed it out and framed it. Since I cannot post a Word Document and I have no idea how to make the document post-able, I will just explain what I did. Please use your imagination until I can get a picture of this craziness!

Ta-da! Kitchen art! My hope is to someday make something with a few more pictures and hang it happily in my kitchen. We'll see what happens. Until then, I have some very creative artwork (if I may say so myself) to hang under the rack of pots and pans!

(I have a few other things I've made, so I'll gather pictures and post my new homemade decorations asap!)
