Scrapbooking...

Over the weekend, I was at the lodge scrapbooking. Carol hosts wonderful get-togethers a few times a year that involve scrapbooking, chocolate, mudslides and chick flicks. It's always so much fun and I love being at the lodge. My weekend was relaxing, so funny and somewhat productive. Here is a glimpse at what I finished:

I would have liked to finish more, but I was happy to have the girl time. I love looking at the pictures from the last several months and remembering all the great things we've done. Yet another great perk to scrapbooking! I finished the scrapbook I started for my dad and I'm glad to be done with that.

Also, Cindy and I hooked up an impossible entertainment system and spent hours behind a TV for the sheer pleasure of music and movies. It was worth it indeed...even the 30 minutes on the phone with the guy from India (sigh). I am pleased to say that we watched eight (8) chick flicks and a Keith Urban Live DVD (twice). We also listened to a plethora of CD's from worship to Johnny Cash to Kenny Chesney. Good times.

So, does anyone want to see my scrapbooks?

Crop-o-rama

Over the weekend, I went to a crop at Carol's house. It was wonderful. Carol, Cindy and Jen get together a couple times a year to scrapbook and relax. This year, they invited me and it was so great! I enjoyed scrapbooking with Carol, Cindy and Jen because (the list is long, but here are some of my tops choices!) they are really good, they have a lot of things I can borrow and they are very fun to hang out with. I was so excited to finish my "year two" scrapbook while I was there.

It was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy the fellowship and conversation with these three very fine ladies. It was great getting to know them better and just hang out! We talked a lot, laughed a lot and ate a lot of chocolate. We listened to a lot of music and watched the Game Show Network for quite some time. I didn't know what fun game shows were out there! We had great food and a little bit of sleep. Cindy and I sat in the hot tub for a while. It was snowing and cold out, but it was so fun! Here are some pictures from the weekend:
