Before I get started...

I have SO much to blog about! But before I spend some serious time posting blogs, I wanted to thank everyone for your emails, prayers and phone calls. I have never felt so loved and so supported through a trial. I cannot express how meaningful it was to get phone calls from friends I rarely talk to, new friends and far away friends.


Patrick and I have called the insurance agent and they are going to check everything out today. Also, there was a write up in our paper about the fire. You can see it here. It was very hard to be apart of this and know that so much has been lost. Luckily, most of our lost items were just stuff.


There is a loss to mourn in this situation and we are doing just that. We are joyful to know that God is keeping us through this. Please continue to pray for Patrick and I, and Frank and Carol. I know that Patrick (more so) and I have had a hard time sleeping. We're constantly thinking something is going to burn or we'll wake up to another nightmare situation.
