Reid's, take 1

Over the weekend, Patrick and I flew to Minnesota to see our very dear friends, Aaron and Jeannie Reid. Our "twice a year" pact has been kept thus far and we decided yesterday that we should bump our visits up to four times a year.

We are SO very refreshed by the Reid's and love them like family! They are our only couple friends that both Patrick and Aaron are really close and Jeannie and I are really close. We've all grown together and enjoy the same things. Plus, we've had time to grow together and really get to know one another. I think we are all different people when we're together...you know, happy, enjoyable, silly, comfortable, refreshed people. We all just click...each one of us.

When we got to the airport, Jeannie and Daniel were there to meet us. We drove to Superior, WI for our weekend getaway. Aaron's parents live there and so graciously took care of us while we were there. It was so much fun. We just hung out and chatted most of Friday. On Friday night, Poppy (Aaron's dad) made his famous and most delicious pizza. We sat around the table, just like we were apart of the family, and listened to everyone tell stories about one another. We laughed so hard and ate WAY too much pizza, but it's just so good!

Here are a few pictures to get started...I've got a lot more to blog about!
Daniel: Wanna see what an alien looks like?
Me: Sure
Daniel: (please see picture below)
Greg, ready to watch Poppy make pizza...and eat some pepperoni and cheese
Johnny, playing PacMan before dinner. Gotta love that smile!
The pizza making assembly line. We weren't allowed in the kitchen while Poppy was cooking. I happily watched from the sidelines. It was quite an ordeal and I was super impressed at the speed Poppy makes pizza!
