Cork board

I have a new affection with cork board. I think it's an incredible invention and I'm sad that I've just now started to appreciate all it can do! We have a large framed cork board that hangs on the wall of our office. It has pictures on it and I always enjoyed looking at it while I was in the office.

The other day, I decided I needed a change (as I do often with things inside my home) and started looking through old magazines of things I enjoyed. A pile of magazines later, I had quite a few pages with great things on them. I composed a collage of magazine pages that inspired me; Things I loved, things I want to love, things I enjoy doing, things I enjoy seeing.

Here are the before and after of this little change:

before, with lovely pictures

after, with inspirational clippings

Okay, so the pictures are not great. BUT you get the idea. Now all I need are vintage wire baskets to hang around it...but that's another day.

Love the cork board idea! I think I may do something like that in my office to keep me inspired. I found these cool stretch canvas squares at West Elm that would double as art work and inspiration board!
