To cut, or not to cut?

I've always had a fondness of getting my hair cut. I love how Laura (my stylist) knows what I like. I like that she plays with my hair, asks me questions and then tells me what she thinks.

I love getting my hair washed. I love the shampoo that the salon uses and I love that Laura washes my hair twice, because she knows I like it. I really enjoy the hair cutting experience. It also helps that I really enjoy the salon I go to. Oh, and it's only 18 bucks for an incredible hour and a half!

So, I've been thinking....Maybe I should get my hair cut. Maybe I should straighten it more. Maybe I should highlight it. Maybe I should get rid of these glasses. Maybe I should not do anything,

The thing is, I go to the salon with very strong convictions of leaving my hair longer and free from chemicals. However, as soon as I walk in I loose all conviction I came with! Sure, cut three inches. Try something new. Play with the styles a little. What about this style?! Add some color! Decisions, Decisions.

I found a website that I can "try out" hairstyles and I really like shoulder length, straight styles on me. But how can I forgo the curls? Why do woman have to deal with things like this?

I'll let you know how my hair appointment goes....
