Who done it?

Last night, we had eight of our friends over for a dinner party. This party was, however, a little different. Patrick and I hosted a murder mystery dinner party. It was a gold rush theme, taking place in Australia, at a hotel called the Station Hotel. Who killed Alec, the richest man in town?

With eight suspects, an investigator and a witness, we had quite a crowd. Motives, true feelings and emotions soared as we sat around the living room. We were all invited to the hotel to discuss what happened to Alec. In between acts we ate dinner and mingled out of character (and some stayed in character!)

I won't tell you who really killed Alec, incase you order this mystery too. However, it was a surprise to us all and we didn't know until the very end when we opened the "Do Not read until the end" envelope! Oh, the dinner menu was chicken and dumplings with rolls and a salad. For dessert we snacked on cookies and puppy chow. It was so much fun! Everyone got into character and dressed up perfectly!

Welcome to the Station Hotel!

We were married in the "skit". I was suppose to be pretty hooker-ish. But I toned it down because it's hard to be a hooker with a belly - or maybe it isn't. Oh well.
Our friends Will and Nancy. Nancy was a "bag lady" and did an incredible job in character. There were many times she would start talking or do something and we would all laugh and try to compose ourselves. Good job, Nancy!
An action shot of Act 1. We're just getting to know each other...
The whole gang...

Sounds like so much fun! Did you order a kit or something?
