This morning was a 5:30 morning. He fell back asleep for about 30 minutes, which was a nice little nap for both of us. When we woke up the sun was shining and I was pleasantly surprised since it was suppose to rain today!
I really wanted coffee this morning, and asparagus, so we got ready and took a walk. I stuffed a few things in my purse, put Benjamin in the baby bjorn and off we went. We walked to the coffee shop, got a cup of coffee, talked with a few friends and then walked to Giant Eagle (and friends, there are free samples at 9am!). It was such a beautiful morning! I'm so thankful that God's timing is perfect because having a March baby is wonderful for outside recovery :)
While we were at the coffee shop I ran into our new neighbor. We chatted for a bit and was so excited to find out that she loves working out and cooking. How perfect! She's new to the area and I hope I can help her to enjoy Indiana. I'm always amazed how incredible the Lord is by giving us trials or situations to learn and grown though, then use that to help others. Also, she and her husband are the same ages as Patrick and I. I'm excited to get to know them more and to finally have some (hopeful) community on our street!
This great morning totally makes up for the fact that Benjamin just spit up all over me. Plus his precious smiles and little baby noises always make my day! I like having a 5 week old baby :) Our little man is much more content lately and that makes all the difference! I feel like I'm able to do things and go places more confidently AND tomorrow we're going to Morgantown for the day. I'm looking forward to the day trip (and a Chick-fil-a iced tea)!
Okay, enough randomness. Here are some pictures per request of my mom.

Oh, the new neighbors sound lovely!
And I think it's so funny that he enjoys tummy time! Almost every baby I've ever known hates it! That's so great!
bobby LOVES the warning label on his car seat!! he stares at it all the time. i think it has something to do with babies and black and white...not sure, but it is cute anyway!
