Personality

I have a lot of things going through my head to blog about, but a (not so) short post on Benjamin is much easier today. He is quite fussy, I do not know why, and we're just trying to make it through the day loving one another and not getting to upset that both of us are needy creatures. Most days, Benjamin is in a fine mood and we enjoy being around each other. Today is not one of those days. The good news is this: we played outside today and we both had a very grand time (for 20 minutes... I'll take what I can get!).

I got my haircut this morning and he fussed the whole time. Boo. Luckily one of the gals that works at the salon didn't have anything to do, so she rocked the car seat and talked to my baby. She is so kind. The grocery store was uneventful and he slept (thank you, Lord.). Also, I saved nearly $50 today at the store with card discounts and coupons. I love when that happens. This is one of the many reasons why being a homemaker rocks my world! I thrive on good grocery store savings (as well as several other things ::grin:: ).

Oh well. While entertaining the fussy baby, I ended up doing a photo shoot. I just can't help myself, really. I got a lot of personality pictures. He cracks me up. Also, he weighs 13 pounds and is a whopping 25 inches long. Not bad for a 9 week old, I'd say :) He has been chewing his hands a lot. I think this is gross, but it could be worse and it calms him down. So I let him chew away.

Chillaxin'
Happy baby
Sad and fussy...
Mischievous, indeed.

This one is my favorite. What a look!
All smiles...

Ignoring me and the camera. Whatever.
He is always moving! Arms, legs, head - he really is quite mobile and he makes him so happy.Talk, talk, talk. We coo to one another a lot. I converse with him, too. However, I feel like we should talk his talk some times. So, I coo and he smiles and coos back.

Checking out the world around him, while I swept the porch
Loves those hands...
Very glad to be lifting his head and looking around.
P.S. I LOVE when his little boy looks at me, when I'm just sitting here, and smiles and kicks and coos. Seriously, could it get any better? (the whole fussy baby thing comes and goes, you know...)

PRECIOUS!!!!

What a variety of pictures. I love the ones of him looking at you and thinking "Good Grief Mother" or "I am so the cutest thing ever"!!!

And, I'm telling you that boy is teething!...not really telling, just stating.

Love you! :)

I am pretty sure in the "what a look" picture he is really saying, "mom, i'm trying to poop and you're taking my picture!"

Maybe it was something in the air today...Austin was fussy fussy fussy! Like your mom, we suspect (hope?) teething has something to do with it but in the meantime you always just hope tomorrow is better!

Let me know if you need someone to watch Benjamin next time you get your hair cut--it will soon be next to impossible to go with him!
