Currently, I'm sitting on a stool in a pretty hip apartment in Anntibes, France. We're near Nice and it's raining. However, we can see the ocean from our apartment and it's the Mediterranean. That's a new one for me!
We've rented apartments the whole time we've been in France and, seriously, it's the way to go. The food has been incredible and we've cooked a lot of our meals. I love cooking in France! Plus, the gelato here is excellent. We've had our fair share of crepes and bread and cheese. Whew. Writing all of that makes me think I should workout (as if walking ALL day doesn't count).
B has been an excellent traveler. He comes by it naturally, I guess. He's having a lot of fun and has NO clue we're in France. Someday he'll know. I've been very selective on my picture taking, but I've got a few good ones to share we went get back! Sorry in advance for the amount of pictures you'll have to look at :)
We spent a few days in Paris and then went to Normandy yesterday. Wow. That was so moving, so humbling. Truly worth the day trip. We'll be in Anntibes until Thursday, but we are thinking about being being adventurous and going to Monaco, or somewhere awesome. Although, being in South France is pretty stinking awesome :)
Ah, well, off to bed. It's another late nice here in France. Until next time...

ah france... i miss it! i went to normandy the first time i went to france... my friend and i almost got stuck there, as we missed the last shuttle to take us in to catch our train. after a slight panic attack, we figured "just get a cab!" phew! obviously, we made it back. :)
