The National Cathedral in Washington D.C.

Last week my mother-in-law, Carol, and I went to Washington D.C for the day. We toured the National Cathedral and then had tea in the tower of the cathedral. It was a wonderful day. Very fun, very girly...and I love that. The cathedral was stunning and we couldn't say enough words to one another about how much we loved the place. There was certainly a reverence there that was unmistakable. The Lord was surely in this beautiful place.

The stained glass windows, the towers, the intricate carvings...it was all so gorgeous. There was also a garden right outside the cathedral. We walked through and admired our serene and break-taking surroundings. It was such a great day!
