Patrick is leaving this evening to go on a business trip. He'll be gone for about three and a half days. I don't really enjoy when he's gone, but I always find something fun to do or have the opportunity to hang out with someone longer or more intentionally.
The funny thing is that my LH levels surged this morning. Good for my body (and I'm very surprised), but bad timing! After I tested this morning (at 5am, mind you) I couldn't fall back asleep. This is the hard part about fertility drugs, I think I've mentioned it before, it's so uncertain.
Sure this little stick told me that my LH levels have surged and that in 24-36 hours, I'll be ovulating. However, it may not work. My body might not get it. It might not work. I was laying in bed thinking, "We could be pregnant by next month" and then it would hit me, "Or, very possibly, not". Please pray for my heart as we walk along this very uncertain journey.
So, we'll see how this works out. Maybe round one was just a test, but maybe not. (see, is this annoying to anyone else!??) In the meantime, Patrick and I will do what we gotta do. It's business time, y'all.

Of course, it would have to work out like that, wouldn't it? I can't imagine how stressful this must be. I pray this all "works" soon for you two.....

I LOOOOOOVE THAT VIDEO LOLOL!!! Luke and I quote it ALL the time (especially on Wednesdays, because Wednesdays are the night that we make love...the conditions are perfect...there's nothing good on TV). Flight of the Conchords rock, and so do you! (make sure you sort out the recycling and wear that ugly old baggy tshirt from that team building exercise! ;))
