Boston - in many pictures.

(Boston from the ducky boat...)

We were in Boston over the weekend to visit Kate. It was parents weekend, so we tagged along with Patrick's dad and step mom to see the little sister and Tuft's University.

On Friday afternoon, we did a duck tour. You know, the trucks that drive around and then plunge into the water for a more versatile tour of the city? It was really fun and we saw a lot of Boston. I would have loved to walk around the city and check out some things close up - but that's for another trip.

We toured the campus and enjoyed the beautiful fall weather in New England. We did a little shopping and had a lot of family time. We even had lunch in the dining hall. Let me tell ya, the dining hall I ate in at UT was not even comparable to this dining hall. They had everything!

It was a fun trip and it was nice to see family. Boston was gorgeous and I can't wait to go back and explore!

The beautiful (and now clean) Charles river. Complete with sail boats.

Tuft's campus...
The Cheers Bar...
A statue of George Washington in a park that was a site of battle during the Revolutionary War... Also, Bostonians LOVE statues. They're everywhere.

Cute us in the fall-ness...

Kate's sorority house - Chi Omega And finally, Fenway Park. We were there as the Red Sox's were trying to beat the Rays in the championship game. Luckily, the games were in Tampa Bay.
