Saturday was our first family road trip. We went to the Frederick, MD area for m dear friend Katie's wedding. It was an incredibly beautiful ceremony, a great reception and a wonderful testimony of God's faithfulness and kindness. You'll have to take my word for it though because I didn't take a single picture (I know, me??). Getting out of the house was a little crazy, but we made it!
Benjamin was a champion traveler. I should have suspected he would be since Patrick and I do love traveling! Benjamin slept so well at the hotel. It may have been because he was in the bed with us, but either way - it was great!
On Easter, we headed over to Jason's and spent some quality family time with the Thompson's and Coposky's. It was great to see everyone and everyone was excited to see/meet our little man :) Plus, my nieces were kind enough to share a few pieces of Easter candy with me!
AND today Benjamin is one month old! Wow!!! So, we know he eats well because he has gained 2 pounds and has grown 2 inches! He is in 0-3 month clothes and while they are a little big around the waist, he fits them well in the length. I think he'll be tall and thin, like his daddy. He is starting to come into his personality a little more. He loves being awake and when I move his arms around. He loves tummy time. He loves to eat and has put himself on a fairly manageable schedule. It's not always consistent, but most of the time he does really well. He sleeps pretty good at night. Most nights he goes about 4 hours between feedings (not last night, though). He has a few fussy times during the day, but most days are bearable.

I like the "eating the couch" picture:) Austin has taken to trying to chew on the arms of the futon lately, which I guess is just a more advanced version of the same activity!
These pictures made me smile so big!! I love you guys so much! I miss you like crazy and I am SOOO blessed to be able to see your journey of parenthood through your blog!! :)
