Sibling weekend

Kate made a special stop in Pittsburgh (and then Morgantown and Indiana) before heading home from Boston last weekend. It was so very good to see her and even more fun hanging out and catching up. I love that Kate is my sister and enjoy seeing her when we can. She was so helpful with Benjamin and loved on him just as a good aunt would :)

Patrick and I headed down to Morgantown Friday evening and we all had dinner together. On Saturday, we had brunch together (planned and made by Kent and Sarah - thank you!) then drove to Deep Creek, MD. I love this place and it reminds me of when Patrick and I were dating :) We hiked through Swallow Falls, got ice cream, and played putt putt. Sunday we packed up and came to Indiana for the day. After doing a few things in town, we drove out to the farm and played on the four wheelers, took pictures and had fun. We went to Greensburg for dinner at the Olive Garden! Monday I took Kate to the airport (after a slight delay in leaving because someone smashed the back window of the CRV Sunday night. grrrrrr). We had fun eating lunch at Panera, hanging out at Barnes and Noble and chatting over Starbucks. I love when she visits! It was a fun weekend and I was sad to see her go.
