A week later!

It's been a week since the Momma Encouragement Challenge. I've had a pretty great week of encouraging others, and being encouraged! Was anyone else able to participate in encouraging other mommas this week!?

I was at Target the other day looking for a lunch box for B. Since he starts MDO in two weeks (whhhhhaaaaatttt?!!?) I needed to get him something to take his lunch in. While we were looking away there was another momma and her little boy. I said to B, "Maybe Mothers Day Out can wait until next year..." The other mom in the aisle looked at me and smiled. She told me that her daughter, her oldest, just started kindergarten that day. It was the first time she had ever left her. I asked if she was okay. She nodded and said, "I'm ok until I start to talk about it." I understood. I smiled and told her that she was a great mom and that this was a great thing, as hard as it was.

I certainly know that September 8th will be a hard day for me. Even though it's only one day a week, I'm still leaving my baby in someone else's care all day! I only hope that I can find encouragement as I wander aimlessly through Target without my babe on that lonely Wednesday :)
