Interview and favorites and such...

Here is a quick interview with B on his birthday.  Next time I'll write down questions I want to ask him.  I was just winging it :)

B's favorites:
Fruit -- blueberries
Food -- questionable.  Although he does seem to really enjoy PB&J, BBQ and guac.
TV show -- Curious George {but SpiderMan has become a fav since we have a DVD now}
Toys -- trucks. cars. animals. dragons. Spiderman/Batman things. sporty things. dirt. water.
Friends -- Luke, Eli, Averie, Mason
Drink -- Mango juice or chocolate milk
Dessert -- ice cream {and being a McBride, he LOVES mint chocolate chip}
Song -- Jesus Loves Me or "In the heart" which is really called How Great Thou Art.  I should note, though, that Benjamin loves to sing.  We make everything into a song and he makes up songs frequently.


Facts:
*Knows the first 7 catechisms
*Can recite Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:37, John 1:1-3, Ephesians 6:1,
*Knows his ABC's well.
*Can count to 13.  And ends with "eleven-teen" after 13.
*Knows his address
*Knows his full name
*Tells insanely funny and random "knock, knock jokes"
*B does not like when his hands are dirty with sticky things or food.
*B does not like when he is wet.  He changes or removes his clothes immediately -- this could be why potty training went so well.
*B is 100% potty trained. He wore diapers at bed time and nap time for about 2 weeks.  Then he didn't want to anymore.  He can go to the bathroom alone, but still has a hard time getting his pants up.
*He loves to wear jeans...like daddy.
*His energy level is crazy. Crazy.
*He usually wakes up between 5:30-6:30am.  He naps anywhere from an hour to three.
*He loves school.  Especially being line leader, playing with his friends at school and making art.
*B loves to draw and color and paint.
*He can be pretty aggressive.
*He is very observant.
*He's starting to get snuggly.
*B loves his daddy. And they are very similar.  And both wonderful.


He says:
*A lot.
*Seriously.
*Why? is a huge question around here.
*He tells me about dreams or makes up stories.
*He asks about things we pass on the road.
*He always wants to know who got him something.  If he's playing with a toy, he wants to know who got it and where it's from.
*He repeats a lot now.  Beware when you come over!
*He has started saying, "stupid".  And then he gets in trouble.
*When he comes into our room in the middle of the night, he'll say, "I don't like my bed anymore!"
*He uses the words totally, gorgeous, awesome and cool at random.  It always cracks me up.
*"Wait a minute". "That's making me a crack".

I could go on and on, but my sweet B just woke up.  And there is a little boy who wants to snuggle and watch Curious George.  How can I resist?!
