My Helper

"But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; You consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless." Psalm 10:14

I have this verse hanging up in our bathroom. Every time I look in the mirror, I see these words. This psalm of David brings sweet comfort to my soul. God does see my trouble and grief. He does consider it. He is my helper. Could He be any kinder? Could I have it any better?
I trust that God's goodness will prevail and that His grace, that He has lavished me with, will be triumphant. I pray that He would be glorified in all of my weakness and struggle. I rest in this today:"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness..."(2 Corinthians 12:9)
