My friend, Ashley, tagged me to list 6 random things about myself. So here I go:

1. I'm scared of cops. When I'm driving and I pass a cop, I'll slow down and try to look as normal as possible. Also, if I'm on my cell phone when I pass a cop I will tell the person to hold on and drop the phone in my lap - just in case talking on a cell phone became illegal and I didn't know.

2. I really love to go grocery shopping. I could spend hours walking the aisles, thinking of new meals to create, new items to bake. And, prior to pregnancy, I would sample everything possible. Sometimes twice.

3. Even though I've been going to the commonplace for over a year now AND I work there, I still never have any idea what I want to order to drink. It's usually a toss up of three different drinks, depending on the season, and I'll go back and forth until one sounds the best. I'm so annoying.

4. I'm pretty weird about the order of my kitchen utensils. Usually, when Patrick unloads the dishwasher (he's so wonderful!), I'll come into the kitchen after he leaves and put all the utensils in their correct place. I certainly wouldn't want to grab a spatula when what I really need is a whisk. And most of the time, I don't have to look - I just grab- unless I'm debating what utensil would be best.

5. I hate taking my prenatal vitamin. Also, I hate progesterone pills. This is a fairly new fact.

6. For three weeks of my pregnancy, I ate only the following: spaghetti, grilled cheese, apples, green beans, frosted mini wheats and pizza. That's all I would/could eat. It was terrible (but not so much at the time). Now, I'm eating much more of a variety. But I haven't been able to eat grilled cheese, frosted mini wheats or pizza since then. Bummer.
