How to...

...prepare your home and such for a bridal shower while entertaining a cute baby and your husband is out of town!

1. Put babe in carrier, front facing.
2. Bounce joyfully & sing songs to make babe laugh.
3. While bouncing & singing unload dishwasher, make spinach dip, cut up bread, wrap gifts, clean kitchen, (take your picture for a blog post) make a to-do list and organize shower things on table.
4. Take babe out, feed him, put him to bed.
5. Finish cleaning and stay up to welcome incredibly missed husband home!

Whew! I'm hosting a bridal shower for my friend, Al, today. She's getting married in 3 weeks. Oh boy. I can't wait - for the shower OR the wedding!

Benjamin will be hanging out with daddy and putting up a fence during the shower. We are both so glad Patrick is home. He was missed. Not for the extra help, but because he's so great and it's so sad when he is not around. Our lives are much more fun and joyful when Patrick is home!

Benjamin and I went to a baby shower yesterday and he was around way too many women :) After the baby shower, we went to see Uncle Kent and Benjamin was one happy baby! He must have needed a little man time.

Off to get a run in before I need to finish up my to-do list! Enjoy this gorgeous Sunday!

A mama's gotta do what a mama's gotta do! I LOVE knowing that you have a to do list....wonder where you get that from? :)

And you did such a wonderful job...I loved it! I am so blessed by you friend, thank you so much for juggling everything. You are great and the tiramisu was a HUGE hit! Good job, maybe you do have some Italian in you after all ;)
