4 months!

Oh hey! I didn't forget that I had a blog, it's just that I'm certain that the whole world wants to see and hear about things other than my child :) In fact, I do have other things to blog about. We've been busy. So this week, I'll catch up and work on letting you into my world again!

Until then, I need to update you on my child :) (need may be the wrong word here...)

Benjamin turned 4 months on the 14th. Can you believe it? Me either! I'm stuck in a silly spot of not wanting him to grow up and be a toddler and then wanting him to just sit up and get teeth already! Oh goodness. It amazes me that, at just 4 1/2 months, he is capable of so much. He loves to "stand" or sit and just hates when you lay him down. He could spend hours upright in his exersaucer and enjoys sitting in the bumbo while we eat dinner.

He talks up a storm and no longer cries when he wakes up from naps or in the morning. He contently babbles to whatever has caught his eye and is always a little surprised when I walk in. He's all smiles (unless, of course, his teeth hurt - I'm almost 100% positive that there is one poking through!) and laughs at the most random things.

At his last check up (on the 17th) he weighed about 17.3 pounds and was 26 1/2 inches long! He is a chunck and has the thickest thighs, ever. Oh, my friends, he is so mushy and full of sweet baby goodness! He hates being hot and gets that way very easily. He watches everything we do and LOVES his daddy. He has learned to scream and fuss to get his way and, wow, it's hard to handle that! We're learning to train him now, so that we don't have to discipline as much later.

I took a few pictures of him on his 4 month day and can't help but share his cuteness :)

Ok, ok. Off to bed. Hopefully this sweet little boy will sleep alllll night :)
