Benjamin says...

We've started playing "mommy says" when we are out to keep B entertained.  He's slowly getting the hang out it.  And it's pretty cute.  I just hope it helps him learn to listen to me better :)

That's not the point of this post, though.  During the day B says the funniest things.  He really is quite hilarious!  And I just can't forget them -- so I will share them with you all!

When we sing "holy, holy, holy", B says this: early in the morning my song shall rise to dear.  "Thee" must be hard for him to get his mind around.

As I was putting him down for nap time today he said, "Mommy.  I have a fever in my throat and my belly is scratching.  There is a frog making my belly scratch."  I assured him that sleep would make it better and then put some medicine on his belly {lotion}.

We go to the Y about 3-4 days a week.  Yesterday, while we were driving I asked if he could tell me how to get there.  Suddenly, I just forgot! ;)  Here is what he said: Go to the finish light and stop if it's red.  Go left and up the hill.  Then down the hill and up the hill and down the hill.  Turn on that road.  And there is the Y!
          -- And that was completely accurate!  I was super impressed!
